History
Chileno. Poeta, antologador, ensayista, novelista, conferencista y editor chileno. Nació en La Serena el 04 de abril de 1913. Murió en Santiago el 12 de mayo de 1988.Su amistad con Vicente Huidobro y su influencia, lo señalan como el impulsor de la poesía surrealista chilena. Junto a otros autores de la época forma el grupo literario Mandrágora y funda la revista homónima.
